Refunds are subject to the cancellation policies of the airline, hotel, tour operator, or third-party service provider involved in the booking.
Some bookings may be non-refundable or may incur significant cancellation charges, depending on the fare rules or supplier policy.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original method of payment.
2. Flight Bookings
Refundability: Whether a flight ticket is refundable depends on the fare conditions set by the airline. Some discounted fares may be non-refundable.
Cancellation Fees: Airlines may charge a cancellation fee based on their fare rules. SewaTravel.com may also charge a service fee for processing cancellations.
No-Show Policy: If a passenger fails to board without prior notice, no-show charges may apply, and refunds may not be possible.
Timeframe: Refund processing times vary by airline. Typically, refunds are processed within 7–21 working days after approval.
3. Hotel Bookings
Refundability: Hotels have varying cancellation policies—some offer free cancellations until a certain date, while others are completely non-refundable.
Deadline-Based Charges: Cancellations made after the free cancellation period (as defined by the hotel) may incur partial or full charges.
No-Shows/Early Departures: No-shows or early check-outs are generally non-refundable.
4. Tour Packages and Activities
Custom and Fixed Departures: For custom packages, cancellation charges depend on how close the cancellation is to the travel date and the specific arrangements made.
Third-Party Providers: Activities and tours booked via third-party providers will follow the cancellation policy of the respective vendor.
Group Tours: Group bookings may have stricter cancellation terms and fixed timelines for refunds or transfers.
5. Visa & Travel Insurance
Visa Fees: Once submitted, visa processing fees are non-refundable, regardless of approval or rejection by the consulate/embassy.
Travel Insurance: Insurance premiums are generally non-refundable once the policy is issued.
6. Service Charges & Non-Refundable Fees
SewaTravel.com reserves the right to deduct applicable service or administrative fees from any refund issued.
Any transaction, booking, or service charges incurred are non-refundable, unless specified otherwise.
7. Refund Timeline
Once approved, refunds will be initiated within 7–21 business days depending on the payment method and provider involved.
Credit card and bank transfer refunds may take additional time depending on the issuing bank’s policies.
8. Important Notes
Force Majeure: In the case of natural disasters, political unrest, or pandemic-related restrictions, refund decisions may be based on provider discretion and governing travel advisories.
Disputes: Any disputes regarding cancellations and refunds will be handled in accordance with Nepalese consumer protection laws and international travel standards.
